Welcome back to all our children, parents and staff – we hope you all had a lovely festive season!

We hope that you have all enjoyed your Friday and Monday holiday and look forward to seeing you at7.30am onwards on Tuesday 21st November!

The fun night will start at 6pm and the cost per family of a ticket is £3. Our chosen beneficiary is Queen Elizabeth Children’s Hospital in Glasgow.

We are delighted to announce the return of our popular Family Fun Night on Tuesday 5th December 2017. (Start time to be confirmed). All PUPS family members are welcome to join us for a buffet, Christmas- themed games and our very popular raffle.

We would be delighted to accept any donations of raffle prizes leading up to the event. This week we are selling cakes, marshmallow treats and wine glasses filled with yummy chocolates and more. 

All monies raised will be donated to the Queen Elizabeth University Children’s Hospital.

If your child is not able to attend PUPS it is important that you phone Gillian ASAP to cancel on 01475 673505 or for cancellations after 12 noon you should phone the Community Centre on 01475 689812 at 2.45pm and only if it is *impossible* to cancel before 12 noon. 

Breakfast Club bookings and cancellations should be directed to Jane Monaghan on 01475 674324.

It is important that children have a suitable rainproof jacket with a hood with them every day when they attend PUPS, regardless if the weather is dry when they leave home. Could you also please ensure that the child’s name is written on all clothing.

Maria Lappin has been manager of PUPS for the last 18 years but due to a change in requirements relating to registration, Gillian McEleny will now be the manager/ administrator of the club. Maria continues to work at PUPS and will now be Lead Practitioner, continuing to be the first point of contact for parents/ carers. Gillian will be in PUPS most days after 4pm and as before, is available each evening by telephone to discuss any queries relating to the club. Gillian’s number is 673505.

As stated in a letter just before the summer holidays, PUPS have managed to secure accommodation at the new Largs Campus from March 2018. This will continue to allow us to provide before and after school care during term time. Unfortunately, PUPS will no longer be able to offer holiday care and will become a term time only club from January 2018.

Unfortunately, PUPS will not be open for day care due to a lack of demand. 

Invoices have now been issued for all term-time care booked for October (excluding the school holiday week and the in-service day on 23rd October. This invoice also includes the £10 annual registration fee. This invoice should be paid in full by Friday 27th October 2017.
